Project Overview
Blaker Engineering recently refurbished a Lindner Atlas 5500 ASI shredder at our West Sussex workshop. The machine operates in a demanding processing environment and had experienced wear in key working areas.
Background
The shredder’s teeth and associated wear areas are subjected to constant, heavy-duty use. These components take a significant hammering during day-to-day operation, leading to wear and fatigue in the areas under the greatest pressure.
Work Undertaken
The refurbishment involved repairing worn teeth and rebuilding high-wear areas to restore strength where it is most critical. All work was carried out in-house, with a clear focus on durability for demanding operating conditions.
Outcome
The boom arm repair restored the component to full operational condition, extending the machine’s working life and preventing unnecessary waste.
