This repair was big due to the physical size of the shredder shaft – a whopping 6.5 metres long!

We remachined the bearing surfaces on both ends of the shaft and fitted new bearings. We also put new tips on the shaft. Last but not least, to complete our list of repairs we rebuilt the Hagglunds drive motors.

Once completed, we returned the shaft to site for our customer and fitted it back into the machine.
