Welding repairs to vintage exhibit at Brooklands Museum
Welding repairs to 1904 Siddeley 2-seater tourer ‘Daisy’
Daisy is an adorable Siddeley 2-seater tourer and was formerly the property of Ethel Locke King, the wife of the man who built Brooklands.
Daisy has a claim to fame – it is claimed she was the first car ever to drive on the Brooklands motor course in 1907. In 1930, 1932 and 1934 Daisy took part in the prestigious London-Brighton road runs. On permanent loan to Brooklands Museum, Daisy takes pride of place with her unique story. We were delighted to be asked to carry out sympathetic repairs to her axle and rebuild a hub.
