A custom mild steel T-section beam has been fabricated in our West Sussex workshop for a building project. Working from a customer-supplied drawing, the beam was made to the required dimensions and will be used to support an oak beam within the building.

Custom Mild Steel T-Section Beam Fabrication
A custom mild steel T-section beam has been fabricated in our workshop for a building project.
Working from a customer-supplied drawing, the beam was cut from mild steel and fabricated to the required dimensions, with a 125mm lift at one end and 120mm at the other.
The finished section will be used to support an oak beam within the building.
62 Years of Engineering Experience
The work was carried out by Martin, the longest-serving member of the Blaker Engineering team.
Martin joined Blaker in August 1964 and, 62 years later, is still putting his engineering experience to good use in the workshop.
The beam was produced for a customer we have worked with regularly over many years.
