Straightening Austin 7 axle

Preserving vintage vehicles is a labour of love for the owners, who strive to keep their vehicles as original and authentic as possible. One such job was to repair an axle from a 1935 Austin 7, where the king pin had worn the ends of the axle. We shrunk the ends of the axle, reamed out the eyes at the ends and machined the shim surfaces to ensure accurate re-assembly.
